VistaCam IX

The VistaCam iX from DÜRR DENTAL is an advanced intraoral camera featuring an intelligent interchangeable head system for clinical documentation, patient communication and support in the detection of caries and dental plaque. Depending on the interchangeable head used, the same handpiece can provide intraoral or magnified images, visualise caries and plaque or assist in the early detection of proximal caries.

Immediate visualisation of clinical findings on the screen helps patients understand their oral condition and makes recommended treatment measures easier to explain. The VistaCam iX can also record images and video clips, providing useful documentation for treatment planning and follow-up.

With the Proof interchangeable head, VistaCam iX can visualise carious lesions and dental plaque. In combination with DÜRR DENTAL imaging software, caries activity can be displayed using a colour scale and numerical values, supporting assessment, documentation and monitoring over time.

Proxi – proximal caries detection support without radiation

The Proxi interchangeable head provides an additional diagnostic aid for the early detection of lesions on proximal surfaces. It uses the optical properties of dental tissues to visualise suspicious areas without X-ray exposure, making it a valuable complement to the clinical examination.

Designed for an efficient workflow

A built-in motion sensor automatically switches the camera on and off, helping streamline everyday operation. The option to disconnect the system directly at the handpiece also makes VistaCam iX particularly suitable for multi-user environments. Connection to the computer is provided via USB, with support for current VistaSoft and VistaSoft Connect installations.
