Light-Conductive Interdental Wedges When the interdental space is tight, and it is difficult to insert a matrix, band, or crown - use Anger interdental wedges to increase temporarily the distance between the contact points. As soon as the side of the matrix reaches the contact point,slowly remove the wedge placing matrix the desired way. Once the matrix or crown is on the tooth - apply Anger lightconductive wedge to press and secure the matrix to the tooth to be filled. The main purpose for Anger wedges is to lead the polymerisation light evenly throughout the entire filling andto prevent uneven shrinkage and strains in restoration material.
