PRESIDENT The Original by COLTENE is one of the most established ranges of A-silicone (PVS) dental impression materials. The introduction of PRESIDENT in 1975 as the first A-silicone on the market represented a milestone in the development of high-precision dental impression materials. Since then, the product line has been continuously refined while maintaining the quality and reliability for which it is known.

PRESIDENT impression materials provide high dimensional stability, precision and elastic recovery, while their high tear strength helps ensure safe removal of the impression and reliable preservation of fine details, even under demanding clinical conditions. The range includes a variety of viscosities and final hardness levels, allowing clinicians to select the appropriate material for different impression techniques and indications.

The wash materials combine excellent flow under pressure with thixotropic behaviour, enabling accurate reproduction of even the finest marginal details. Their hydrophilic properties improve wetting in moist environments, while the highly contrasting colours enhance visibility and facilitate evaluation of the impression before pouring.

The PRESIDENT The Original portfolio includes three wash viscosities — Xtra Light Body, Light Body and Regular Body — together with MonoBody, Heavy Body and three different Putty consistencies, providing a broad choice for different clinical techniques and preferences.
