The VistaPano S 2.0 by DÜRR DENTAL is an advanced 2D digital panoramic X-ray system designed to combine excellent image quality, fast image acquisition and intuitive operation for efficient everyday dental diagnostics.

Its advanced CsI (Cesium Iodide) sensor technology, combined with DÜRR DENTAL's innovative S-Pan technology, delivers sharp panoramic images with a high level of detail. S-Pan takes the individual anatomy of each patient into account. From a large number of parallel image layers, the system automatically selects the areas that best represent the patient's anatomical structures and combines them into a sharp panoramic image.

This technology considers deviations from average dentition as well as individual tooth inclination. It can also compensate to a certain extent for positioning inaccuracies, helping achieve consistently useful diagnostic images while reducing the need for repeat exposures.

Operation is simple and intuitive thanks to the integrated 8-inch glass touchscreen. Three laser positioning lines assist with precise patient alignment according to the Frankfurt horizontal plane, median sagittal plane and image plane. Mirror-free positioning also allows the operator to maintain direct eye contact with the patient throughout the positioning process.

The VistaPano S 2.0 provides a total of 17 panoramic X-ray programs, offering flexibility for a wide range of diagnostic requirements. These include standard panoramic imaging, segmented exposures, orthogonal programs, temporomandibular joint imaging, sinus programs and dedicated programs for children.

Its four child programs use a reduced exposure area, allowing a dose reduction of 45–56% without losing the diagnostic information required for the examination.

For increased patient stability and comfort, the Comfort Bite provides a wider and softer support surface. It helps minimise patient movement during exposure and is also suitable for edentulous patients.

Despite its advanced imaging capabilities, the VistaPano S 2.0 features a slim and compact design, making efficient use of available space in the dental practice. Panoramic imaging can be completed in approximately 7 seconds in Fast Mode, supporting a fast and efficient clinical workflow.
