Bifix – VOCO’s luting cement for metal, ceramics and composites – is now also available for luting of hybrid abutments with try-In pastes. As a true all-rounder, Bifix Hybrid Abutment can be used both extraorally in the lab and intraorally in the practice. Its perfect masking of dark backgrounds using highly opaque shades is an absolute plus for highly aesthetic restorations.

Bifix Hybrid Abutment luting composite is easy to apply from the practical QuickMix syringe, and the enclosed application cannula, which includes a freely rotating attachment, allows highly accurate and thus material-saving application. As a highly radiopaque and dual-curing luting composite, it benefits time management with processing advantages based on light-curing, but it can also be used in areas with no available light (root canal, metallic abutments).

The material is offered in the highly opaque white and universal tooth shade variants, plus a translucent variant for ceramic or zirconium dioxide restorations.

Bifix Hybrid Abutment is suitable for abutment crowns, mesostructures, combination restorations, ready-made adhesive or titanium bases, and individual abutments made of titanium, ceramic or zirconium dioxide. Intraoral luting onto dental hard tissue is also an indication. Every luting composite is supplied with a try-in paste in a perfectly matching shade, which simulates the correct optical impression in any film thickness. Thus, for highly aesthetic restorations, it is possible to choose precisely the right shade before permanent luting, something that is not offered by any other similar product. Afterwards, the pastes can easily be rinsed off again with water.
